CHERRIES will play a pre-season friendly at Championship team Queens Park Rangers two weeks before the next Premier League campaign gets underway.
The match on Saturday, July 29 (3pm) is being played in honour of R's legend Stan Bowles, with all proceeds from the fixture being donated to a newly-launched QPR ex-players foundation.
Bowles, who was capped five times by England and played for the Loftus Road club for seven years from 1972, is suffering with Alzheimer's disease.
He will be at the match, for which tickets will be priced £12 for adults and seniors, and £6 for under-18s.
The 2017-18 Premier League season kicks off on Saturday, August 12.
