EDDIE Howe has refused to rule out the possibility of defender Marc Wilson making a permanent move to West Brom this summer.

Wilson has made three appearances for the Baggies – all this month – since joining on loan in the January transfer window.

Responding to questions from the Express & Star over whether he would be interested in signing Wilson permanently, West Brom boss Tony Pulis said: “That’s up to Bournemouth. We want to wait until the end of the season and then we’ll have a look.”

And Cherries manager Howe did not pour cold water on the notion of the 29-year-old moving on in the coming months.

Asked if Wilson could depart for West Brom, the boss said: "Who knows? I think that's difficult for me to comment on, I haven't spoken to Marc.

"I've been pleased to see him play in a couple of games towards the end of the season. That one we will review in the summer."

An unused substitute for most of his spell at the Hawthorns, the right-footed Wilson has been utilised at left-back in recent times.

And the Express and Star claimed Wilson's versatility and potential transfer fee would make him a "viable option" for Pulis, who has only four senior defenders at his disposal.

Wilson has featured just three times for Cherries following his initial £1.5million move from Stoke last summer, those outings having come in the EFL Cup and FA Cup.
