CHERRIES have sealed a club-record five-year kit supply deal with sportswear giant Umbro.

The partnership was announced yesterday at Vitality Stadium and marked by the unveiling of a pitchside sand sculpture of the parties' respective logos.

Umbro will supply Cherries' kit, replica and training wear from the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign.

"This is an exciting and important deal," said Cherries chief executive Neill Blake.

"AFC Bournemouth is a forward-thinking, progressive club and our new partnership with Umbro, which is the biggest kit contract in our history, is the perfect example of that."

The impressive sculpture was created by sand artist Mark Sanderson from Weymouth. Comprising 10 tonnes of sand it stands two metres high and measures three metres in width.

Supporters are invited to have their picture taken with the model between 4-7pm on Thursday.

Any fan who shares an image of the sculpture on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, using the hashtags #NextChapter and #afcb will be entered into a draw to win one of the team's new kits.

Five different winners will be presented with their prize by a Cherries first-team star.
