CHERRIES midfielder Lewis Cook has returned to the England under-20 squad for a mini-tournament in France later this month.
Cook was forced to miss the Young Lions’ Continental Cup matches against Nigeria, South Korea and Iran in November due to injury.
The 20-year-old, who joined Cherries in a £6million move from Leeds in the summer, sustained an ankle injury while on international duty in October.
Cook will be hoping to feature when England face Portugal (March 23), France (March 25) and Senegal (March 28) in Brittany as their preparations intensify for the Under-20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Cherries goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been called up to the England under-19 squad for a trio of European Championships qualifiers.
Ramsdale, who joined Cherries from Sheffield United in January, has been named in a 19-man squad for UEFA Elite Round qualifiers against Norway, Spain and Belarus, with the winner of their group advancing to the tournament finals in Georgia in the summer.
