MONDAY, JANUARY 30
Speculation surrounding Max Gradel's immediate future continues unabated.
Hull City, whose revolving door is gathering pace by the minute, are apparently interested in signing the Cherries winger on a permanent basis.
Glenn Murray is closing in on a permanent £3million move to Brighton & Hove Albion, according to Sky Sports.
Cherries striker Murray linked up with the Championship leaders on a season-long loan ahead of this campaign.
But following a fruitful six months at the Amex Stadium, during which he has netted 15 times, the 33-year-old is set to commit his future to the club where he previously spent three-and-a-half years, before leaving for Crystal Palace in 2011.
Various news outlets are reporting that Aston Villa and Swansea have struck a deal which will see Swans left-back Neil Taylor heading for the Midlands, with striker Jordan Ayew moving in the opposite direction.
Ayew would be following in the stead of brother Andre, who spent one year at Liberty Stadium before his summer transfer to West Ham.
Sunderland are attempting to fill the left back slot vacated by Patrick van Aanholt's departure for Crystal Palace with Everton's Bryan Oviedo.
And Oviedo could be joined at the Stadium of Light by his current Goodison Park colleague, Darron Gibson, who hasn't featured in the Premier League under Toffees boss Ronald Koeman.
The Daily Mail are reporting that West Brom have made a loan bid for Watford striker Odion Ighalo.
Tony Pulis's Baggies are desperate for additonal firepower to take the front running burden off Venezuelan attacker Salomon Rondon.
They have been heavily linked with a bid for Cherries' striker Callum Wilson, but could now be poised to take advantage of Ighalo's reluctance to accept an offer to play in China.
The same paper says Hull City have agreed to pay Watford £3m for midfielder Adlene Guedioura.
Robbie Brady, who is said to interest Cherries, could be on the verge of a £13m switch to Burnley.
Sunderland and Crystal Palace have also expressed interest in the Norwich winger, who moved to Carrow Road from Hull in 2015 (Daily Mail).
Patrick van Aanholt could be in line for a Crystal Palace debut against Cherries tomorrow night, after the left-back completed a £14million move from Sunderland to Selhurst Park.
The deal represents a £12.5m profit for the Black Cats, who paid Chelsea £1.5m for the Dutch international in 2014.
Palace boss Sam Allardyce has enquired about 20-30 different players this month as he seeks to revitalise his labouring team.
But Van Aanholt, who played in Sunderland's 2-1 victory at Vitality Stadium on November 5, is Palace's second new arrival since the turn of the year - following the Eagles' £12m capture of former Leicester utility man Jeffrey Schlupp.
The great Hull City exodus could be set to continue. The Tigers, battling for their Premier League lives, have already sold Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass this month.
Now various media outlets are reporting that Burnley have agreed a £10million fee with Hull for their Scottish international left-back Andy Robertson.
Eddie Howe says Cherries will not sell Callum Wilson, who the manager insists is a "massive part" of Cherries' future.
West Brom are the latest club reported to have shown interest in signing Wilson, with the West Midlands outfit apparently willing to pay £20million to prise the 24-year-old to The Hawthorns.
Speaking at his press conference before tomorrow night's clash with Crystal Palace, Howe said: "Callum Wilson is not for sale. He’s a massive part of our plans and our future - and we love working with him."
Asked if Wilson remains happy at Vitality Stadium, Howe added: "I work with the player every day in training.
"I see how he is in training and see his mood. Callum’s not been different for one day. He’s always been the Callum Wilson we know and love."
One player who might be allowed to leave Cherries is Max Gradel.
Howe, who is expecting to see the Ivorian back in training today following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations, says he has not yet received any formal bids for Gradel.
Nevertheless, a deal for the 29-year-old to depart before tomorrow night's deadline could still be struck.
"We’ll wait and see on that one," said Howe.
"Max obviously hasn’t had a lot of game time with us so that’s something we’ll reflect on and try to make the best decision for his career."
Craig Gordon is torn over a January move to Chelsea and that threatens to derail Asmir Begovic’s £10m switch to Cherries, claims The Mirror.
Celtic have offered 34-year-old Gordon a new three-and-a-half year deal to stay in Scotland and the goalkeeper is also worried about going to Chelsea and just sitting on the bench.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been desperate to keep Gordon and is hoping he has managed to persuade him to stay.
West Ham's Dimitri Payet has completed his return to Marseille, the French Ligue 1 club have announced.
The 29-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal at the Stade Velodrome after a £25million fee was agreed yesterday.
Payet expressed his desire to leave the Hammers and has not appeared for Slaven Bilic's side since refusing to play against Crystal Palace on January 14.
A statement on West Ham's official website read: "West Ham United have sold Dimitri Payet to Olympique de Marseille for a fee of £25m. The French midfielder has been sold after stating that he no longer wished to play for the Hammers."
EDDIE Howe today politely declined to comment on reports linking Cherries with a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Begovic, who has a loan spell with Cherries in 2007, has been widely tipped as a target for boss Howe.
Howe, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace, said: “I never comment on individual targets.”

Chelsea's hunt for a goalkeeper has seen them turn to Brighton's David Stockdale (Mirror).
The Premier League leaders have also been linked with Celtic's Craig Gordon and Salvatore Sirigu, the Italian international on loan at Sevilla from Paris Saint-Germain, as they try to seal the deal which could smooth the way for Asmir Begovic to join Cherries.
In other news which could immediately impact on Eddie Howe's team, Tottenham have reignited their interest in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha (Sun).
Palace, who visit Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, rejected a £12million bid for the player from Spurs in August.

"USM Finch Farm is an impressive place. The facilities are great and I'm looking forward to getting started here.
"I think I can learn from the good young players that are already here and hopefully we can be successful together."

Antonio Conte confirmed last week that Chelsea were considering an offer for the Bosnian.
Jack Wilshere is unsure where his future lies, according to close friend and Cherries team-mate Benik Afobe.
Loan star Wilshere has 18 months left on his contract at Arsenal and Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly monitoring the situation.
***
A MATTER of months after Eddie Howe rounded off a busy summer by completing the biggest deal in Cherries history, the transfer market is open for business – for one more week.
And while landing a signing to rival that of Jack Wilshere would be a tall order, Howe has nevertheless admitted he is hoping to strengthen his hand.
Howe has been understandably coy with regards to which areas of his team he would like to bolster. It would be little surprise, however, if central midfield is top of his list of areas to address.
Harry Arter has started all but one of Cherries' Premier League games this term and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Andrew Surman would have started every fixture but for a hamstring injury.
Howe also has Dan Gosling to use in that part of the pitch but beyond the former Everton player, his midfield options are thin.
Lewis Cook, bought from Leeds prior to this campaign, has only just returned from injury and is short of game time, while another summer buy, Emerson Hyndman has moved to Rangers on loan.
The slow-burning start to Jordon Ibe's Cherries career might tempt Howe to seek out another winger – albeit Ryan Fraser's sparkling form of late makes that less of a priority.
Following the return to Chelsea of loan star Nathan Ake alongside the hamstring struggles of Marc Wilson, Cherries are perhaps a little light at the back, although skipper Simon Francis is now back in the reckoning following a three-match suspension.
Similarly, the decision of Benik Afobe – a £10m buy in last year's January window – to swerve the Africa Cup of Nations might persuade Howe he is well off for forwards.
That situation would change, of course, if rumours linking Callum Wilson with a move away from the club come to fruition.
It should be noted, here, that any manager who believes he has identified a goalscorer will do all he can to get him into his club, given the precious commodity these individuals represent.
In terms of potential outgoings, it could make sense for lightly-run duo Lewis Grabban and Max Gradel to make temporary switches elsewhere in order to get some football into their respective legs.
While considering who might benefit from a spell away, though, Howe will be conscious of not wanting to leave himself short in the second half of the campaign.
The manager had his major January business – the permanent signings of Grabban and Afobe, and a loan deal for Juan Iturbe – wrapped up by the 11th day of the month one year ago.
Things could rumble on a little longer this time round.
The window closes on Tuesday, January 31 at 11pm.
