BENIK Afobe says he is talking to Jack Wilshere "all the time" about the England international's plans beyond the end of this season – and that Wilshere is rediscovering his confidence and enjoyment of football in a Cherries shirt.

Afobe delivered a vital cameo during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Watford, emerging from the bench to score a point-saving equaliser late in the game.

But it was Wilshere, on loan from Arsenal, who claimed the man-of-the-match plaudits for his latest consummate attacking display.

“Everyone knows how good Jack is," said Afobe. "He is a top professional and has brought some life into the squad. Not just on the pitch – but on the training ground he is quite loud and quite funny.

“That (his future) is something he has to think about. To be honest, I don’t think even he knows what he is going to be doing.

"We have conversations all the time and he just wants to play week in, week out and see what happens at the end of the season.

"The main thing for him is getting his confidence back and staying injury free – to get that enjoyment back is the main thing for every footballer.

"Then you want the games to be coming every two or three days and I think that is how he feels at the moment."
