ASSISTANT boss Jason Tindall says Cherries will "respect" the decision of the Football Association to uphold Simon Francis's sending off against Arsenal.

The 31-year-old skipper was shown a red card by referee Michael Oliver for a second-half challenge on Aaron Ramsey during Tuesday's 3-3 draw at Vitality Stadium.

Cherries appealed on the grounds of wrongful dismissal but that was rejected following an independent regulatory commission hearing.

Francis will be suspended for tomorrow's FA Cup third-round clash with Millwall and subsequent Premier League fixtures against Hull City and Watford.

Tindall said: "At the time we felt it was a harsh sending off so we appealed it and the governing body made their decision, and we respect that.

"There is nothing we can do. It's disappointing to lose your captain for three games but, unfortunately, that's what has happened.

"That's why we have a squad and we have to move on and get through the next three games."

Cherries will also be without Max Gradel against Millwall due to African Cup of Nations duty but loan star Jack Wilshere is in contention to return after being unavailable to face parent club Arsenal.

Although Joshua King was substituted against the Gunners due to hamstring tightness, Tindall said: "We're not really seeing any major problems with him."

Tindall confirmed under-21s youngster Jordan Lee would be included in the matchday squad.
