EDDIE Howe admitted Ryan Fraser had made a compelling case for inclusion against Burnley with his superb performance in the win over Liverpool.

Winger Fraser, introduced as a second-half replacement for the injured Junior Stanislas, won the penalty from which Callum Wilson converted, found the net himself and then set up Steve Cook for an equaliser.

Nathan Ake won the game for Cherries in injury-time.

Reflecting on Fraser's contribution, Howe said: "Naturally, he's done his prospects no harm.

"I've seen him with a real smile on his face this week, which is really nice.

"He's been relaxed and I think he's enjoyed the moment he had. Knowing Ryan as I do, he is now focused on the next challenge.

"He is a very level-headed lad and knows it's a really good platform to show everyone what he can do."

Howe added: "It was great to see him come on the pitch and have a real influence and do it in front of his own supporters.

"A lot of the Bournemouth fans haven't seen a great deal of him. He did very well on loan at Ipswich but this is a new season.

"It was great to hear the crowd singing his name and giving him that belief because it's a two-way thing.

"He needs to feel loved by everyone, me included, because I think his talent is immense."
