DAN Gosling insists Cherries will not take their foot off the pedal in tomorrow’s clash with Middlesbrough.

Eddie Howe’s side delivered a blood and thunder display to draw with Tottenham in front of the television cameras six days ago.

But the trip to the Riverside Stadium represents a return to the muck and nettles of the Premier League for Gosling and his team-mates.

What’s more, the midfielder is keenly aware that newly-promoted Boro will view the game as an opportunity to bag three precious points.

Gosling told the Daily Echo: “Each game sets different challenges, different obstacles. It’s no different this weekend.

"We were in Middlesbrough's position last season. Teams would come down here thinking they would roll us over – and, to be fair, a lot of teams did. Our home form wasn’t that good.

“But away from home, we were very good. Away from home this season, we haven’t done that badly.

"But we’d like to have a few more points and we want to get our first win. We’re definitely looking at this game as one where we want to get three points.”
