CHERRIES have been strongly linked with a move for Liverpool defender Brad Smith.
The Sun last night suggested Liverpool had accepted a £6million bid for the Australia international.
Smith is apparently preparing to return from Liverpool’s tour of the United States to talk personal terms with Cherries.
Should he sign, the 22-year-old left-back would become the second Reds player this month to join Cherries following Jordon Ibe’s club record £15m switch.
Smith, who has been capped nine times by his country, progressed through the ranks at Anfield and made his debut in 2013.
