HENRIKH Mkhitaryan could feature at Vitality Stadium next month after joining Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in a reported £26million deal.

Cherries are due to face United on the opening day of the Premier League season as they bid to begin their second top-flight campaign in positive fashion.

The Red Devils had already added to their squad this summer with the signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly, the recruitment of Armenian international Mkhitaryan taking the spending of new boss Jose Mourinho to more than £50m.

Linked with Liverpool in the past, attacker Mkhitaryan made 140 appearances and scored 41 goals at Dortmund after joining the German side from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013.

He has scored a national record 19 goals in 59 appearances for his country.

Mourinho said: “Henrikh is a very talented footballer who has been in prolific form for club and country. He is a real team player with great skill, vision and a good eye for goal. I am delighted he has chosen to sign for United.

“I believe he will make an impact on the team very quickly as his style of play is suited to the Premier League. We are all looking forward to working with him.”
