YEOVIL boss Darren Way is again keen to loan Cherries winger Harry Cornick next season.

Cornick, plucked from non-league Christchurch in January 2013, played 42 times and scored seven goals for Yeovil last season.

He was joined by other temporary signings from Premier League clubs throughout his breakthrough professional campaign and Way admitted Cornick’s name was one that had remained on his hit list.

Way told the Western Gazette: “(Everton’s) Liam Walsh is a no-brainer, (Swansea’s) Connor Roberts is a no-brainer and Harry Cornick. They’re the three I want back at the club.

“None of the parent clubs have said no but they all want to see what level the players come back at. That is the first thing they will do.

“If you add five quality loans to the squad you are almost doubling the strength. You could see what they did last season.

“You have to wait for them, it is not going to be done early. A lot of the big boys are travelling away to different countries and they need big squads.”

Cornick has made one competitive appearance for Cherries’ first team, coming off the bench during an FA Cup third-round victory at Rotherham United in January 2015.
