CHERRIES will kick off the new Premier League season with a home clash against 20-time top-flight champions Manchester United – as new Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho presides over his first competitive game in charge.

Eddie Howe masterminded victory over a Mourinho side on the last occasion the managers locked horns, when a late goal from substitute Glenn Murray gave Cherries a 1-0 victory at Chelsea in December.

The Portuguese was axed by the Stamford Bridge club shortly after but is now back in work having replaced Louis van Gaal at the helm at Old Trafford.

Cherries also take on West Ham and Crystal Palace in August – the former side in the first Premier League game at the Olympic Stadium – and face rivals Southampton at Vitality Stadium eight days before Christmas.

The Dorset side make the trip to Antonio Conte's Chelsea on Boxing Day.

An away fixture at Swansea City on New Year's Eve follows with a home game against Arsenal in the offing on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2.

Cherries make the journey to Tottenham on Saturday, April 15, their only fixture of the Easter weekend.

Howe's men round off the season at reigning champions Leicester on Sunday, May 21.

All games kick off at 3pm unless otherwise stated. Fixture dates and kick-off times are subject to change.
