CHERRIES winger Ryan Fraser is set to be sidelined for between six to eight weeks due to injury.

Fraser, who is currently on loan to Ipswich, hurt his hamstring during the closing stages of their 1-0 defeat at QPR on Saturday.

The Scottish under-21 international was replaced deep into stoppage time by Larsen Toure and discovered the extent of the damage following a scan earlier this week.

Fraser has been a big hit with Ipswich fans since joining them on a season-long loan in August as part of the deal which saw Tyrone Mings move in the opposite direction.

He spent 12 weeks on the sidelines between the end of September and mid-December after sustaining a knee injury while on duty with Scotland under-21s.
