CHERRIES’ rising star Baily Cargill completed a loan move to League One promotion-chasers Coventry City.

Cargill, who has made four appearances in the League Cup and FA Cup this season, will remain with the Sky Blues for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old defender, capped by England under-20s, has yet to feature in the Premier League but has been named in several of Eddie Howe’s matchday squads.

Cargill, who has also served Torquay and Welling on loan, skippered Cherries to victory in the third round of the FA Cup at Birmingham and also started in the fourth round win at Portsmouth on Saturday.
