CHERRIES goalkeeper Ryan Allsop has completed a loan move to League Two promotion-chasers Wycombe Wanderers.

Allsop will remain at Adams Park for the rest of the season, although Cherries have a 24-hour recall in the agreement.

The 23-year-old has featured once in the Premier League this season, replacing Adam Federici at half-time during the epic 3-3 draw with Everton in November.

Allsop, who joined Cherries on a free from Leyton Orient in January 2013, signed a new 12-month contract in the summer and was the only player to feature on Eddie Howe’s retained list.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at League One outfit Coventry City, making 27 appearances for the Sky Blues.

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth told his club's website: “Bringing a player of Ryan’s ability to the club is a big coup for us.

"He’s a tall, commanding keeper who’s an excellent shot stopper and he’ll be a great addition to what is already a strong backline.

“I’m looking forward to working with Ryan and would like to say a huge thank you to Bournemouth for allowing us to bring him here.

"I have a very good relationship with their manager Eddie Howe and it’s down to him that we’ve been able to make this move happen.”
