GOALKEEPER Artur Boruc and winger Marc Pugh are set to miss Cherries’ home Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday through injury.

Boss Eddie Howe reported Boruc has a knee complaint while Pugh, who this week signed a fresh two-and-a-half-year deal at Dean Court, has yet to recover from a nagging Achilles problem.

Asked for injury news at his weekly press conference, Howe said: “I don’t think we have anything fresh. We still have concerns over a few players, Marc Pugh is still not training with us, he has picked up a niggling Achilles injury that is hanging around, he can’t seem to get rid of it.

“Artur Boruc still has niggle in his knee but apart from that, we are at full strength with the ones we have available.”

The duo join long-term absentees Tommy Elphick, Tyrone Mings, Max Gradel and Callum Wilson on the sidelines.
