WATFORD manager Quique Sanchez Flores felt his side had controlled “60 minutes” of this afternoon’s 1-1 draw at Cherries.

The Hornets boss declared himself “pleased” with the point and praised his players for their pressing in the build-up to Artur Boruc’s mistake.

Sanchez Flores said: “They tried to cut the rate we play normally and I am very happy with the performance of the players in the first 20-25 minutes of the first half and the second half.

“We had some really clear chances in the first 25 minutes of the second half. If in the 90 minutes you have the opportunity to control 60 minutes, for us it is good.”
