CHERRIES under-21 goalkeeper Jordan Holmes has been named in Australia's squad for the upcoming Asian Football Confederation Under-19 Championship qualifiers in Laos.
Holmes made his under-20 debut against Qatar in May and went on to line up against USA and Brazil.
The 18-year-old stopper joined Cherries in June 2013 when he signed a two-year scholarship after impressing on a tour to England organised by the club’s former academy coach Paul Hubbard.
He was rewarded for his eye-catching progress last summer when he was handed his first professional contract, a two-year deal.
