CALLUM Wilson admitted the reaction to his bicycle kick had tempered his goal celebration against Leicester.
The Cherries hotshot wowed the crowd by hooking home an overhead effort in the 24th minute of Saturday’s 1-1 draw.
Quizzed on his seemingly mooted celebration, Wilson said: “I knew it had gone in but as I got up, everybody was just standing there looking at me as if to say ‘what are you doing?’
“I looked at the assistant and saw his flag was down so I just carried on celebrating on my own.”
But the ex-Coventry star insists he is not getting carried away by his flying start in the Premier League.
“I don’t like to get ahead of myself,” he added. “It is nice but it is only four goals. There is still a long way to go to hit the heights of last season.”
