NORWICH have rejected two bids for Lewis Grabban, Canaries boss Alex Neil has claimed.
Both the Eastern Daily Press and Sky Sports have linked Cherries with moves for the frontman.
Neil stated this morning that the Carrow Road side were not interested in selling the former Dean Court favourite to a direct rival.
Grabban departed Cherries for Norwich in June last year after a two-year spell in Dorset.
The 27-year-old was an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw with Stoke on Saturday.
Neil told the Eastern Daily Press: "Bournemouth have come in with two separate bids and they have both been rejected. Lewis is an important part of the squad. I’ve not had to sit him down and reassure him.
"Lewis is a clever boy and he can see how much he has featured under me since I have been here and he is a big part of our plans. I certainly won’t be giving players to direct rivals. That is the bottom line."
