CARDIFF City manager Russell Slade delivers his post-match verdict after tonight’s incident-packed 1-1 draw at home to Cherries.
Harry Arter hit a 20-plus yard beauty to hand the visitors an early lead and Cherries dominated possession for the rest of the half with Callum Wilson denied a penalty after a tangle with Bruno Ecuele-Manga.
The Bluebirds levelled in the second half through Ecuele-Manga’s bullet header, while Wilson saw a bizarre goal chalked off when home keeper Simon Moore blasted a clearance at the stationary striker’s back.
The ricochet came back off the bar with Wilson netting on the rebound only to see the effort disallowed by referee Lee Mason.
