ASSISTANT manager Jason Tindall is hoping Cherries can frank their promotion credentials by showcasing their talents on the small screen.

Table-topping Cherries tomorrow host sixth-placed Watford in an eagerly-anticipated Dean Court sell-out which is being shown live on Sky Sports.

The previous encounter between the teams was also televised when 11 places had separated them ahead of an entertaining 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road in September.

Since then, a storming run has propelled Cherries from 15th to first, while six wins in their past eight games have seen the Hornets maintain their challenge.

Tindall and boss Eddie Howe were among the crowd to see Watford – who briefly led the table in October and November – come from 2-0 down to thrash Blackpool 7-2 five days ago.

“Watford were probably unfortunate to be 2-0 down as they had created a number of chances,” said Tin- dall.

“They changed their system for the second half and looked very dangerous, especially going forward. It was a good performance.

“They are on a fantastic run at the moment, they are in form and scoring goals. We are currently top of the table and the leading goalscorers in the country so it should make for an exciting game.

“As a player, you want to perform well in every game.

"But, when the game is on telly, it is being showed nationally and possibily internationally and it is a great opportunity for players to show how good they are and how good we are as a team.

“I am sure a lot of people will watch because we are top and they are in good form. Both teams like to attack and score goals so it has all the ingredients to be a really good game.”

Although Cherries have suffered defeats by Norwich and Leeds since the turn of the year and exited the FA Cup at the hands of Aston Villa on Sunday, Tindall says there are no grounds for panic.

He added: “If we are under pressure and are top of the Championship and have scored the most goals in the country then what an enjoyable pressure to have.

“We don’t feel under pressure at all. We are the best team in the Championship at the moment and the league table doesn’t lie, especially at this stage of the season.

“In our eyes, we are in good form. Working with the players every day, we see what a fantastic group we have and how hard they work.

“I wouldn’t say we are under pressure but then the only way you answer people’s questions or doubts is to go out in your next game and perform really well and that is what we have to do against Watford.”

All available tickets for the clash have been issued and the club are urging supporters not to travel to Dean Court unless they have a ticket.
