CHERRIES winger Ryan Fraser and loan goalkeeper Artur Boruc both featured for their respective countries in internationals against Switzerland last night.

Fraser earned his seventh cap for Scotland under-21s as they drew 1-1 in the Stockhorn Arena in Thun in a friendly.

The Scotland squad was made up of players born in or after 1994 as their preparations started for next year’s European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.

Fraser, 20, was replaced by Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s Ryan Christie after 72 minutes before Norwich’s Cameron King scored a late equaliser for the Scots Boruc, meanwhile, played his part in Poland’s entertaining 2-2 draw with the Swiss in a friendly in Wroclaw.

The giant stopper, who is on loan to Cherries from Southampton until January, made a stunning save to keep out Pajtim Kasami’s effort just before the break.

Earlier, Boruc had been beaten when Josip Drmic put the Swiss ahead in the third minute before Poland levelled in first-half stoppage-time through defender Artur Jedrzejczyk’s header.

Boruc was replaced at the interval by Swansea City’s Lukasz Fabianski before the hosts took the lead in the 61st minute through Arkadiusz Milik.

Substitute Fabian Frei scored his first international goal in the 87th minute, six minutes after Poland defender Michal Zyro had been sent off for a second booking.
