CHERRIES boss Eddie Howe delivers his post-match verdict following tonight's 2-1 victory over Premier League West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup.
Cherries midfielder Eunan O'Kane lit the blue touch paper four minutes after half-time by finishing off a driving run and delicate pass from Junior Stanislas.
Georgios Samaras's tame shot was deflected into his own net by Cherries caaptain Tommy Elphick to level matters five minutes from time but Callum Wilson broke away to net the decider within 60 seconds of the restart.
The victory saw Cherries reach the last eight of the League Cup for the first time in club history.
