HAT-TRICK hero Marc Pugh revealed how boss Eddie Howe's half-time reminder of what was expected paved the way for Cherries’ record-breaking 8-0 victory at Birmingham City.
The demolition job was the biggest win in the club’s 91-year Football League history and largest post-war winning margin in English football’s second tier.
Winger Pugh, who rattled home three goals in 21 second-half minutes at St Andrew’s, admitted Cherries had been “sloppy on occasions” during the first-half, despite leading 3-0 at the break.
Pugh described as “a bit of a riot” the stunning show and went on to talk about the “amazing feeling of grabbing his first treble in professional football.
