CHERRIES midfielder Josh Wakefield has extended by a further two weeks his loan at Conference club Torquay United.
Wakefield turns 21 on November 6, making him ineligible for youth loans. Wakefield is expected to stay with United, managed by former Cherries coach Chris Hargreaves, on a fresh deal beyond that.
Cherries have given the green light for Wakefield to play in Torquay’s FA Cup tie against Aldershot Town tomorrow.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Benji Buchel has signed for Conference club Welling United on loan until January 1.
The Liechtenstein international is also eligible to feature for the Wings in the FA Cup.
