IT HAS been all-change at Norwich recently with midfielder Leroy Fer’s exit offset by several new arrivals.

The Netherlands international departed for QPR for a reported £8million fee nine days ago following a 13-month spell with the Canaries.

That same day, former Sunderland defender Carlos Cuellar penned a one-year deal at Carrow Road while Cameron Jerome joined for an undisclosed fee from Stoke.

However, Norwich’s transfer window business was not done and the club yesterday revealed that midfielder Conor McGrandles had made the switch from Falkirk.

The deal for the 18-year-old was reportedly worth £1million and saw the youngster again link up with City assistant boss Gary Holt, who he was managed by at Falkirk last season.

Norwich boss Neil Adams told the Canaries’ official website: “Conor comes highly recommended by Gary after his time there as manager. He’s a dynamic, combative player who can be used anywhere across the midfield, and he’s already played plenty of games so he has the ability to compete at senior level.”

McGrandles scored eight goals during 82 senior outings at the Bairns and was linked with a move to Aston Villa before electing to link up with Norwich.

His signing supplements a side in good form following four wins on the spin in all competitions, which included a 1-0 victory over fierce rivals Ipswich in the Championship last Saturday.

Norwich and Cherries have only met twice over the past 50 years - in the League Cup - with the south coast side recording a 3-2 win in the old Division Three on their last visit to Carrow Road in October 1959. Cherries are unbeaten in their past nine visits to the venue.
