CHERRIES striker Jayden Stockley has joined League Two club Cambridge United on loan until January.
Stockley, 20, spent pre-season with development squad having ended last season playing in English football’s fourth tier with Torquay United.
He replaces Us frontrunner Adam Cunnington who has joined Conference Premier club Bristol Rovers on a 93-day loan.
Meanwhile, League Two Portsmouth are weighing up a loan move for 17-year-old prospect Sam Matthews, who played in Pompey's friendly against Lee Bradbury's Havant & Waterlooville on Wednesday.
Fellow midfielder Josh Wakefield has joined Conference club Torquay, managed by former Cherries first-team coach Chris Hargreaves, today.
