LYON Harry Anne, Stuart and Marie would like to thank everyone for their cards, flowers, letters of condolence and kind words after their recent sad bereavement. Special thanks goes to Bob Young, all his steam engine friends and the many visitors he had who kept him positive and motivated during his illness. Thank you to Graham, Wendy, Sonja and Elizabeth for taking the names of over 500 people from all over the country who attended his funeral. To Keith Parlour, David Robinson, Mick Gaines Burrill and Bill a very heart felt thank you to you for giving him the send off he both deserved and would have been so proud of. Generous donations totaling over £2500 were collected at church to be divided between the two chosen charities of Herriot Hospice Care and Macmillan nurses, a donation has also been made to Patrick Brompton Church. He was a very special man who will be greatly missed but never forgotten by all his family and friends.
