THE destiny of the Hayward Sunday Premier League title was in the balance right up until the last 15 minutes of the last game of the season with the two contenders battling it out in front of a crowd of more than 200.
With 75 minutes gone and the teams all square at 3-3, reigning champions Bournemouth Electric were on course to retain the title on goal difference.
But it was Wallisdown Liberal, in their first season in the Premier League, who claimed the glittering prize when goals in the closing stages from Kevin Grigg and Marc Scrimshaw gave them the upper hand 5-3.

"Congratulations to Wallisdown. They won it on merit," said the Sparkies boss.
