CAPTAIN Miles Addison has described as a must-win game Cherries ’ League One encounter with Brentford at Goldsands Stadium tonight (7.45pm).

Summer signing Addison told the club website: “We are not really feeling any pressure at the moment. We are six games in and things are going okay but it could be better.

“We haven’t been beaten in our three home games and any unbeaten record is good. We will just keep going and we need everyone to keep supporting us because, in the end, we will take off because we’ve got too much quality in the team not to.

“I think it will be win at all costs for us (against Brentford). It is about getting the three points we need on the board.

“I don’t think they will come and frustrate us in the same way Hartlepool did because they probably have a bit more about them and they will hope to be up there at the end of the season.

“I think they will try to match us up and, hopefully, that will open up some spaces for us to pass through them.

“We’ve had three draws at home this season and I think the supporters deserve a win and that’s something we definitely want to give them.”

Boss Paul Groves thinks the clash may come “too soon” for midfielder Richard Hughes who is struggling with a thigh injury. Hughes is rated as "touch and go" by Groves, while Shaun MacDonald sat out training yesterday.

Asked by the Daily Echo whether he had a pre-match message for Cherries supporters, Groves replied: “They support the team, get behind the team.

“I understand their frustrations in respect of not getting a win (against Hartlepool). We came away with a draw, had two good chances towards the end of the game and took one of them. They were frustrated because we couldn’t break down the opposition.”
