Once again EH talks a lot of sense and i trust he will carry out his words.

Fair play to EH for keeping us going this long up near the top. We are seriously overachieving and Grimsby showed that on Saturday. I made the long trip thinking we could/should get a result and to be fair to Grimsby the totally outplayed us and probably deserved a more comfortable win. Our embargo and financial ineptness over the past three or four years has culminated in difficult circumstances for Eddie and co and they should be given a Knighthood for how well they've done but, and it is a HUGE but, I've seen people say we deserve to get promoted etc and however much I love this club I dissagree. We have picked up so many points this year when we probably shouldn't of got anything out of the game but over the course of the season I think we will find our natural position which I think will be in the playoffs. I also think that by going up, it could cause further damage to our club. Can we afford better players? Can we then stay in the league and keep the attendances up? I'm worried that we'd get relegated and then face further financial troubles again. We should try to do the right thing comercially before climbing the league. Get our house back in order then build from that. Other clubs do. Grimsby haven't gone into administration or had a transfer embargo because they operate within the means of their income and pay the price in terms of league position and I know Chester felt agreived last year when they did the same and we stayed up by operating outside our income. Football is becoming too immoral and so many people have suffered at our mismanagement so for that reason I would feel comfortable with more league 2 football and the opportunity to right some wrongs commercially before stealing the headlines on the pitch. Well done EH and Co but I feel it is ineveitable that we will sit lower in the league come what may!

An excellent assessment.
A couple of points...

The management of the club's finances may have been generally in error over the years but having gone into administration, Sport 6 must take the major share of the blame for the state we're in.
Despite other bids last year we are stuck with the Murry Group led by Eddie Mitchell. The question many people are asking is could they have injected more money, even on a temporary basis to ease the finances.
I have to admit to doubts about the club's survival if the current lack of investment is maintained. The situation, in my opinion, is that serious.

There are a lot of good comments today about the pros and cons of promotion.
I think we would all like to see Cherries promoted on the way the team has played this season. Whether or not we deserved some of our victories is neither here not there. I'm sure most teams have those games (Football is a funny game, you know).
I do share concerns about our financial viability to exist in another League and I do wonder where the money is coming from. We seem to be spending tomorrow's money today and when tomorrow does catch up, where will that money come from ?
My primary concern is whether or not Cherries will exist next season. Eddie Mitchell tells us it will, so we have to believe there will be a club next season.
I personally don't care if we are in League One or League Two. My want is for football to continue at Dean Court.
If we don't have the finances to survive a higher League, I would sooner we stayed where we are, got our finances in order and then went for promotion when finances were on a sound footing.

For a football manager to accept such a decision by a referee without criticism is rare indeed. But so are managers like Eddie Howe.

I look down these comments and yet again negativity. Yes Goulding was an idiot Saturday, but i would imagine he has punished himself and let Eddie and the club down enough without all the supporters having a go too.
The finances are still very very negative so we need sorting on that.
But most importantly we may be out of the automatic promotion places by the time we play Saturday, that should be the supporters priority now. 3 points is a must, Rotherham are hit and miss and I really dont believe they will go straight up. However if they beat Macclesfield at home tomorrow they'll have our 3rd place.
We need a full house on Saturday and create an atmosphere. Accrington's top scorer Symes is suspended so things more promising for us.
Can the echo run a back page or even half a front page for the club to get bums on seats.
I work around Southampton and wherever you go Saints advertise all over lamp posts and roundabouts etc. What do we do?? Nothing!

Cherrychris75 in our church weekly newsletter there is an offer of £5 for children and £10 for adults for the Bradford game. I have no idea how many tickets are available for that offer but if the Echo allows me to put up more details I will gladly do so

yeovil town do the same thing as Southampton and really push the boats out when their play at home.All the shop windows carry details regarding their match days.Flyers are handed out in the town as well as i had been told.Bournemouth however really need to up their tempo if their want to get those supporters pass the gates.Its no good having one excellent game and then going backwards and performing badly in the next game,otherwise it will only show that their are not serious about promotion.Eddie Mitchell has asked for our feedback again,again,again and nothing is being done?????SORT IT OUT MR MITCHELL!!I want nothing more than Bournemouth to go up but from now on i think it be the best interest for the echo to stop printing news regarding what is going on at the club,because it will dent the players confidence.Also i been to a number of games and even though the supporters are brilliant,i feel that sometime their can be also very quite which does not create a good atmosphere.I remember the notts county FA Cup 3rd,when their supporters made more noise than us.Start to cheer your team on more and the results will start happening again.

If he is so confident of that, why doesn't he, as a multi millionaire chairman, lend the money to the club right now and clear those debts?

Why not offer family ticket deals? Why not offer buy two tickets get one free? There are so so many ways of increasing the revenue, do they not want the support, revenue and bums on seats to increase!!
