JASON Tindall insists "I don't think it's right" to speculate about Cherries making a possible move to re-sign Matt Ritchie.

Reports this week claim Cherries are keen to snap up their former star before next week's transfer deadline.

Ritchie scored 31 goals in 142 appearances for the club, before joining Newcastle United in 2016 for a reported £12million.

The Gosport-born winger has played 11 times for Steve Bruce's side this season.

Asked if he would be keen to bring Ritchie back to Cherries were he available, Tindall told the Daily Echo: "Listen, it’s wrong for me to comment on other teams’ players. I wouldn’t do that, I don’t think it’s right.

"I think everyone knows what a fantastic player Matt Ritchie is and how well he did for this football club during his time here.

"But I don’t think it would be right for me to speculate on someone else’s player."
