WEST Ham are plotting a summer move to sign Cherries winger Ryan Fraser, according to the Mirror.

Despite efforts from Cherries to tie the Scot down to a new deal, Fraser's contract is due to expire at the end of this season, making him available on a free transfer.

After a stellar 2018-19 campaign, Fraser was linked with moves to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.

But West Ham are reportedly hoping to steal a march on "a number of clubs" who see the winger as a "bargain" option.

It is claimed that Fraser "fits the profile of the younger, more mobile player that David Moyes wants to bring to the London Stadium" following his return to the club as manager.

The 25-year-old played 45 minutes of Cherries 4-0 loss at West Ham on New Year's Day.

He has made 26 appearances in all competitions for Eddie Howe's side this campaign, scoring once.

Speaking about Fraser in November, Howe said: "In terms of his contract, that’s obviously for him to decide what he wants to do with his future.

"We would love him to stay and commit to us. But if not, we need to get the best out of him between now and the end of the season.

"We’ve had conversations with Ryan to try and persuade him to stay, but at the moment, he’s keeping his options open on that one."
