YOUNGSTER Corey Jordan could link up with former Cherries boss Kevin Bond on loan at League One outfit Southend United.
The Cherries defender has spent pre-season with the Blues and scored in their 3-2 friendly win over Billericay Town on Tuesday.
Manager Bond, the man who gave Eddie Howe his first job in coaching, was appointed Southend boss in April.
He said: “Due to my relationship with Bournemouth and Eddie, they will help us where they can. We need a centre half or two so we’re having a look at him (Jordan) and seeing how he does.
"They think a lot of him and he’s done well for us but there’s nothing like seeing him on a matchday.
"That’s the key but there could potentially be a loan deal there if he does okay.”
