CHERRIES trio Steve Cook, Junior Stanislas and Jordon Ibe could join the rest of their team-mates later in the club’s La Manga pre-season training camp.

A statement on the club website said the first-team squad members had been left in Bournemouth to “continue their respective rehabilitation work”.

Stanislas saw his season cut short last campaign after injuring his hamstring after 23 minutes of the home defeat to Fulham in April.

The former Burnley ace required surgery on the problem and was expected to face up to four months out.

Cook and Ibe both featured on the final day of the Premier League season at Crystal Palace but appear to have picked up slight injury concerns ahead of the new campaign.

But the Daily Echo understands the trio could link up with Eddie Howe’s men before the end of the 12-day camp in Spain, during which Cherries are set to face AFC Wimbledon and Girona.

Meanwhile, the club have confirmed midfielder Jefferson Lerma will arrive later in the camp after featuring for Colombia in the Copa America this summer.

Tyler Cordner and Gavin Kilkenny have also been included in the first-team group, having also spent time with the under-21s in Alicante.
