CHERRIES stars David Brooks and Chris Mepham have been named in the Wales squad for a training camp ahead of next month's Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Wales boss Ryan Giggs has selected a 26-man group for the trip to Portugal before fixtures against Croatia and Hungary.
Winger Brooks missed the final two Premier League games of the season due to an ankle problem he suffered in the 3-3 draw at Southampton, while centre-back Mepham came on as a substitute in Cherries' 5-3 defeat against Crystal Palace earlier this month.
In March, the pair impressed as Wales opened their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Slovakia.
Giggs said: "We’ve got two tough away games the players are coming into after a long season. "We’ve got a strong squad coming to Portugal and we’ve got other players in the Champions League and play-off finals so we need to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for next month."
The training camp in the Algarve takes place from May 22 to May 28 before Giggs's charges travel to Croatia on Saturday, June 8 (2pm) and Hungary on Tuesday, June 11 (7.45pm).
The squad for the two clashes is set to be named by the former Manchester United star on Wednesday, May 29.
