MANUEL Pellegrini is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding his plans for Lucas Perez and Carlos Sanchez when Cherries visit West Ham.

The duo made deadline day moves to London Stadium and were not involved for the 4-0 opening-day defeat at Liverpool.

Asked if Perez and Sanchez would be on show against Cherries, boss Pellegrini said: “I cannot tell you now. Carlos arrived on the last day. He has worked just one week with us.

“Lucas Perez is similar. We will see if they are at least able to come to the bench but I cannot answer that question.”

Striker Perez joined West Ham from Arsenal for a reported £4million. He scored seven goals in 21 appearances for the Gunners after joining in the summer of 2016.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, bagging eight goals in 35 La Liga appearances.

Defensive midfielder Sanchez joined the Hammers from Fiorentina.

The former Aston Villa man had a loan spell at Espanyol last season and subsequently went to the World Cup with Colombia.

He was sent off three minutes into their opening game against Japan.
