A COMBINED team from Mudeford Phoenix’s under-nine and under-10 girls’ squads sealed double delight at recent tournaments.
The first success came at Fawley where they beat teams from Pace Lynx, Portchester, Pace Lionesses and New Milton Ladies.
And the squad followed up their triumph by lifting the tournament crown at Greenfields.
Mudeford played Bridport, Weymouth and Winchester Kites in the preliminary round before winning 6-1 against the Kites in the final.
Brett Barrass, who managed the Phoenix alongside Jamie David, said: “Our girls performed to a very high standard against some very good teams. We are very proud of them.”
