DORSET’S Georgia Hall dropped out of contention to finish in a tie for 21st at the Ladies’ Scottish Open.
The Wimborne-based professional carded a final round 72 at Gullane Golf Club to finish two under par for the tournament, 11 shots behind winner Ariya Jutanugarn.
Having started the day three under and five shots off the lead, Hall recorded a costly double-bogey at the par four fourth.
A birdie at the short eighth hole meant the former Canford Kid reached the turn in 36, before another bogey at the 10th checked her progress.
An eagle at the par five 11th provided a timely boost before a dropped shot two holes later saw Hall finish one over for the day.
The world number 39 is set to compete in the Women’s British Open, which gets underway on Thursday.
