DORSET’S Kevin Walker claimed three national titles at the Typhoo National Junior Athletics Championship in Warwick.
The Poole Athletics Club wheelchair competitor took the honours in the under-16 T34 category.
The event was organised by Activity Alliance and saw 200 junior disabled competitors from all over the UK compete in various events over two days.
Kevin, 14, did not find the 30-degree heat too much of a problem, winning the 100m (21.51s), 200m (37.82s) and 400m (75.04s), all in personal best times.
He competes in various events around the country and finished third in this year’s London Mini Marathon.
Kevin is desperately looking for sponsorship as he needs to upgrade his racing chair.
