CHERRIES have confirmed friendlies against La Liga outfits Sevilla and Levante as part of their Spanish pre-season training camp.

Eddie Howe’s men will take on five-time Spanish Cup winners Sevilla on Saturday, July 14 with Levante providing the opposition on Friday, July 20 (both 7pm).

Both fixtures are set to take place at Pinatar Arena in Murcia.

Sevilla finished seventh in La Liga last season, as well as reaching the final of the Copa del Rey.

The three-time Europa League and two-time UEFA Cup champions also made the last eight of the Champions' League.

Levante include midfielder Jefferson Lerma in their ranks.

The Sun last week reported Cherries were plotting an £18million bid for the Colombian international.

The 23-year-old played 90 minutes as 10-man Colombia lost 2-1 to Japan in their Group H opener at the World Cup today.

Cherries' players will be put through their paces at La Manga Club from July 10-21.

Both the England and Spain national teams have trained at the complex, as well as European giants Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Marseille.
