CHERRIES striker Lewis Grabban remains Nottingham Forest’s number one transfer target, according to reports in the Midlands.

The Nottingham Post says Forest boss Aitor Karanka wants to add at least one “proven Championship goalscorer” to his squad.

And the newspaper adds that Cherries are “keen to offload” the frontman, who spent time on loan at Sunderland and Aston Villa last season.

Grabban scored 12 goals for Sunderland and then fired eight for Villa, helping them reach the Championship play-off final where they were defeated by Fulham.

Norwich’s Nelson Oliveira and Middlesbrough’s Patrick Bamford are also reportedly targets for Forest.

Meanwhile, French newspaper L'Equipe reports Cherries and Toulouse have agreed a fee of around £1.75million for Max Gradel.

The report came hot on the heels of speculation from Turkey that the winger had been offered to Galatasaray.

Gradel scored 11 goals during a fruitful loan spell at Toulouse last season, helping the Violets avoid relegation to the second tier.

He grabbed a goal and an assist in their two-legged promotion-relegation play-off victory over Ajaccio.
