DORSET star Georgia Hall will be looking to return to top form when she competes at the Kingsmill Championship in Williamsburg.

The 22-year-old has endured a difficult run of results on the LPGA Tour having missed the cut in three of her past four events.

Former Canford Kid Hall failed to make the weekend at the Kia Classic, ANA Inspiration and the LPGA Mediheal Championship, while she finished in a tie for 31st at last month’s LA Open.

But the world number 36 put in an impressive showing on home soil two weeks ago during the innovative GolfSixes matchplay event.

Alongside her 2017 Solheim Cup team-mate Charley Hull as part of an England Women’s pairing, the duo were eventually knocked out in the last eight by eventual champions Ireland.

Wimborne-based Hall is tomorrow (1.43pm UK time) set to tee it up alongside America’s Natalie Gulbis and youngster Elsa Diaz, who last week turned professional.

Six of the world’s top 10 are included in the field with an overall purse of more than £960,000 on offer.

Lexi Thompson is set to defend her title. She fired three rounds of 65 on her way to sealing a five-shot victory during last year’s event.
