EDDIE Howe urged his players to find their fluency in a bid to beat last season’s Premier League points haul.

Cherries finished ninth in the top flight during 2016-17 having accumulated a club record 46 points.

With four games of their season remaining, starting with tomorrow’s home clash with Manchester United (7.45pm), the Dorset club are on 38.

Howe said: "Our form since Christmas has been good but there's a frustration that we haven't really kicked on and found the fluency in the performances we've created.

"We've got four games to do that, starting against Manchester United.

"We are in exactly the same position as we were this time last year. We finished really strongly last season so the challenge is there for us to do that again.

"It is a motivation, it is something we want to do. We've improved every year as we've gone on.

"Our target at the start of the season was to do that again so these are important games for us."

After facing the Red Devils, Cherries visit struggling Southampton on Saturday, April 28.

They then host Swansea before making the trip to Burnley on the final day of the season.
