BOSS Eddie Howe said he would “wait and see” on whether goalkeeper Ryan Allsop would again be sent out on loan.

The 25-year-old spent the first half of the season at League One Blackpool, where he made 23 appearances. He returned to Vitality Stadium earlier this month.

Quizzed on whether another loan switch would be considered for the stopper, Howe told the Daily Echo: “I wouldn’t rule it out at this stage but let’s wait and see.

“He had a good, productive spell with a lot of games at Blackpool, which we were pleased with and we will see what happens next.”

Allsop joined Cherries from Leyton Orient five years ago when the Dorset club was in the third tier.

He made his Premier League debut in November 2015 when he replaced the injured Adam Federici at half-time in the 3-3 draw with Everton.

Subsequently spending time on loan at Wycombe and Portsmouth, Allsop had to wait until the final day of last season for his first top-flight start, featuring in the 1-1 draw at Leicester.
