DAN Gosling expressed his desire to feature in another FA Cup final and is eager to get there with Cherries.

The midfielder could be involved when Eddie Howe’s men visit Wigan in their third round replay tomorrow (7.45pm).

Gosling reached the 2009 final during his time at Everton when the Toffees lost to Chelsea at Wembley.

He came off the bench for the Merseysiders, replacing Leon Osman eight minutes from time.

Reflecting on the occasion, the 27-year-old told the Daily Echo: “We lost 2-1 and probably scored too early. That was a dominant Chelsea side back then and it was tough.”

Asked whether he fancied another spot in the final, Gosling replied: “I would love to, it is a great experience.

“It’s always good to get a cup run, to keep the momentum going and keep winning games.”

The former Plymouth youngster was an unused substitute when Cherries came from two goals down to force a draw against the Latics at Vitality Stadium.

He played 90 minutes in the Premier League on Sunday during the historic 2-1 victory over Arsenal.

“The team spirit, togetherness and character is all in the squad. We have proven that in the past four or five results,” he added.
