DEFENDER Steve Cook admitted he felt Cherries “made it too easy” for Liverpool to show off their attacking quality.
Goals from Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Lovren, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino saw the Merseysiders run riot during the hosts’ 4-0 defeat at Vitality Stadium.
Cook told the Daily Echo: “I think that was the first time this season we have actually been shown up.
“We knew their threats but they showed everyone why they were as good as they were.
"I thought we probably made it too easy for them.
“We gave them too much space, too much time and they exploited us.
“As well as they played, I thought we struggled and it is all about sticking together now.”
The centre-half took to the field after 56 minutes to replace the injured Charlie Daniels, with Cherries already trailing by three goals.
And he admitted the task of containing Jurgen Klopp's charges with the contest virtually over was a daunting one.
“It was one of the hardest games to come into," he added.
“At 3-0 down I just wanted to come on and do as well as I could.
“I think over the season you are going to get these games. We are on an extremely tough run at the moment.”
