NATHAN Ake is eager to lock horns with a mentor he believes has “everything” in frontman Romelu Lukaku.

The former Chelsea team-mates look set to duel when Cherries make the trip to Manchester United tomorrow (8pm).

United signed the imposing Belgian in July for an initial £75million and Ake insisted the Red Devils have one of the Premier League’s best.

The Dutch international told the Daily Echo: “He has everything. He has pace, power, is technically good and can finish.

"He is the perfect picture but you have to get yourself up against him to try to stop him from scoring.

“They are a big side and a great team so it will be tough but we will go there in high spirits and we want to win the game.

“We want to get something from it and, hopefully, we can do that.”

Ake arrived at Chelsea from Feyenoord in 2011 with Lukaku joining the Blues from Anderlecht the same year.

Both players were sent out on loan from Stamford Bridge before agreeing moves to other Premier League teams.

Ake was given spells at Reading, Watford and Cherries before sealing a club record £20million move to Vitality Stadium in the summer.

Loan spells at West Brom and Everton came for Lukaku before the powerful hitman was sold to the Toffees in 2014.

“I learned from him, the way he lived was really good,” added Ake.

“Back then I was really young, sometimes he came in to play with the reserves and he always talked to you and tried to help you outside of football.

“I played a few times with him and I think we worked well with each other. He speaks Dutch as well.

“He took me under his wing sometimes and talked to me. He was a really good guy and it will be good to see him.”

Ake also faces a reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho when Cherries arrive at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese gave the 22-year-old his Champions' League debut three years ago, when Chelsea thumped Slovenian outfit Maribor 6-0 at Stamford Bridge.

The defender replaced Cesc Fabregas on the hour mark and provided an assist for Eden Hazard late on.

Ake added: “He was a really good manager, he gave me my Champions' League debut, gave me some games and I had a good connection with him.

“Those chances you never forget and at that age I was young. It was difficult to come into a team like Chelsea with big players.

“We could talk to each other normally about everything.

“The way he goes about things in games mentally and tactically. You just see it in the changing room, especially at young age, and you learn from that for sure.”
